Services and Facilities

Choose us to look after your animals and we’ll ensure they receive a caring and expert service from the moment they arrive.

Constant investment in new equipment, facilities and staff training enable us to provide an excellent standard of RCVS accredited Veterinary medicine and surgery giving  the best care possible.

In addition, we have fully equipped operating theatres, a digital x-ray facility, ultrasound scanning, blood pressure monitor, ECG, high speed dental machinery, an endoscope, and an in-house laboratory to help provide quality, rapid results allowing efficient diagnosis and treatment of your pet. Other services we offer are: 

  • Furry Friends Pet Health Club
  • Vaccinations / Inoculations / Boosters 
    Vaccination is recommended for your pets to help protect them against potentially life threatening diseases. We recommend vaccination against the following:
    • Dogs: Distemper, Parvovirus, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis and Parainfluenza

      1st vaccinations at 8 weeks old with 2nd vaccinations 2 – 4 weeks later

    • Cats: Feline enteritis, Feline flu and Leukaemia

      1st vaccinations at 9 weeks old  with 2nd vaccinations 3 – 4 weeks later

    • Rabbits: Myxomatosis, Viral Haemorrhagic Disease and Flystrike prevention.
  • Treatments for Worms / Fleas / Ticks / Parasites 
    All year round effective worming and flea control.
  • Neutering / Spaying / Castration
  • Micro-chipping
  • Nurse Clinics
  • Pet Travel Scheme

  • Separate Isolation Room for Infectious Cases
  • Repeat Prescriptions
    Please note: We require at least 48 hours notice for processing repeat requests.
    In most cases your pet will have to be seen by the vet every 3-6 months in order for you to obtain repeat prescription. To request a repeat prescription please phone 01502 578999.
  • Surgical Procedures 
    Once surgery is over your pet will be cared for on the premises until he or she is well enough to return home, and will remain in the care of one of our vets until recovery is complete.
  • Reception Pet Shop
    Designed to cater for many of your pets’ needs including toys, leads, specialist puppy and kitten ranges as well as small animal accessories.
