Thanks to all the people who took part in this years very special day doggy day on Sunday 10th June, we raised £9,659.56 for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

This family fun day brings people together & celebrates the unique relationship that we share with our dogs. We have many trade stands which have everything that you could need for your dog from food and equipment to bedding and healthcare, plus advice from a variety of experts, have-a-go activities such as fastest recall, mini beast hunting, our very popular fun dog show and a full programme of entertainment and displays.

Walk through the National Nature reserve on Benacre Estate

Strutt Your Mutt gives people a rare opportunity to enjoy areas of Benacre Estate that are not usually open to the public. It is a fascinating example of England’s countryside at its diverse best with our walks (either two or seven miles) taking visitors through a wide range of habitats ranging from farmland to heathland and from woodland to beach. Part of the estate has been internationally recognised as an area of special conservation value and is well worth the walk – why not take binoculars and a camera along with you.

Many people like to help us raise funds for our charities by seeking sponsorship for both the walk and the run but it is not essential. Entry and Sponsorship forms are available NOW form Wangford Veterinary Clinic or online www.struttyourmutt.co.uk

If you would like to know more about this year’s event, book a trade stand, be a sponsor or even volunteer your time we would love to hear from you. Please call 01502 578999 and ask for Jill or email: jillasquith@btinternet.com
