The team from Wangford Vets will be walking again this year and we would love you to JOIN US

Our Doggy Dawdle takes place on Sunday April 13th and it’s a 12k (just over 7 miles) Walberswick Circular Walk, raising funds for Cancer Research UK. We are meeting on the green at Walberswick at 10am (there is lots of parking nearby) and finish at Location: The Bell Inn, Walberswick where we can catch up with each other at this lovely dog friendly location.

Cancer Research UK is a cause that resonates deeply with many people – we feel our walk is a positive way to show support for our friends, family members and colleagues who have been battling cancer, it’s an opportunity to unite, inspire and make a difference together.

This is a beautiful walk and at a sociable dawdle, walking approx. 12km around the beautiful village of Walberswick, offering a blend of natural beauty, charming scenery, and local wildlife. We feel Walking for Cancer Research UK is a way to hold onto hope and optimism for the future and by raising funds we can contribute to the possibility of finding better treatments, early detection methods, and ultimately, a cure for cancer. Cancer Research UK

Cancer Research UK is the largest cancer research organisation in the United Kingdom. With a mission to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer, they fund ground-breaking research, support cancer patients and their families and raise awareness about the importance of early detection and prevention. By supporting Cancer Research UK, you are contributing to their efforts to find new treatments, improve survival rates, and ultimately, beat cancer. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by this devastating disease.

Dear friend’s family and clients,

We would like to ask your support in our upcoming fundraising events to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

Our motivation

There are few of us, who remain unaffected by cancer, and we feel walking for Cancer Research UK can be a positive way to show support for our friends, family members and colleagues who have been diagnosed with cancer.

Walking for Cancer Research UK is a way to hold onto hope and optimism for the future. By taking part in our walks and fundraising we can contribute to the possibility of finding better treatments, early detection methods, and ultimately, a cure for cancer.

This was the last walk route that we did in May last year 2024. It was truly beautiful and we were glad we had taken binoculars and cameras with us to capture the stunning scenery and wildlife.

The full circular walk was 16.05 km and took just over 4 hours
