Wangford Vets Fundraising Update

We are pleased to share the total from our fundraising walk earlier this month was £1,199 and added to the money raised from our walk last September (an amazing £2,769) our total so far is £3968. This is thanks to the amazing support from our clients and community. HOWEVER, we are not stopping there!

When the team at Wangford Veterinary Clinic started raising money for Cancer Research UK, we set ourselves a target to raise £5,000. To help us get closer to our goal, we will be holding a tombola and raffle at Brampton Plough Day and Country Fayre on Sunday 1st September.

You can help us by donating items for the tombola - gift vouchers from local business, any unwanted gifts, bottles of wine etc. We will be grateful for anything that you are able to donate. Every penny raised will go towards funding vital Cancer Research.

Please spread the word to help us get to our target of £5000
If you can help in any way please email Jill@wangfordvetclinic.com or call reception on 01502 578999 and ask for Jill

Dear friend’s family and clients,

We would like to ask your support in our upcoming fundraising events to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

Our motivation

There are few of us, who remain unaffected by cancer, and we feel walking for Cancer Research UK can be a positive way to show support for our friends, family members and colleagues who have been diagnosed with cancer.

Walking for Cancer Research UK is a way to hold onto hope and optimism for the future. By taking part in our walks and fundraising we can contribute to the possibility of finding better treatments, early detection methods, and ultimately, a cure for cancer.

This was the last walk route that we did in May this year. It was truly beautiful and we were glad we had taken binoculars and cameras with us to capture the stunning scenery and wildlife.

The full circular walk was 16.05 km and took just over 4 hours

Cancer Research UK

Cancer Research UK is the largest cancer research organisation in the United Kingdom. With a mission to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer, they fund ground-breaking research, support cancer patients and their families and raise awareness about the importance of early detection and prevention. By supporting Cancer Research UK, you are contributing to their efforts to find new treatments, improve survival rates, and ultimately, beat cancer. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by this devastating disease.
