Dear friend’s family and clients,

We would like to ask your support in our upcoming fundraising event to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

Our motivation

As many of you will know, Walter sadly lost his partner, Becs to cancer last December. While around that same time Rachael, who has been part of our reception team for several years, was diagnosed with breast cancer. With the loving support of her family and friends, Rachel has shown great strength and bravery as she continues through her exhausting treatment. She really is an inspiration to us all, her resilience a testament to her character.

Its been a painful and difficult time, which makes Walter and the Wangford Vets team, all the more determined to do something positive to honour Bec’s memory and show love and support for Rachael.

On Sunday 17th September, Walter and many of the Wangford Vets team will be walking a circular route of 7 miles between the villages of Walberswick and Dunwich. The walk offers coastal walking in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

We have set ourselves a target to raise a total of £5,000 and we are asking our valued clients and friends for support. There are several ways that you can become involved:

  • You can sponsor us for the walk – from our reception or via phone
  • Give a donation via a special dedicated page on our website
  • Donate a prize of items or services that can be auctioned
  • Join us on the walk day

Any support you are able to offer would be greatly appreciated and will help to make a significant difference in the fight against cancer. Thank you.
