As it is so warm this week, I am going to try some frozen Kongs.

There are special pastes and biscuit type products available to stuff into Kongs, however, cheap and healthy alternative fillings are extremely easy to make, we suggest a portion taken from your dog's daily kibble ration.

A frozen filling will provide a cool and even longer-lasting treat that is great especially if your dog needs to be crated when left. It’s also excellent as a cooling and teething treat for puppies.

There is a new veterinary exclusive blue kong now available that is 25% stronger than the classic and is said to be the ultimate chew and fetch toy! Well, we will see as I have the ultimate chewer living in my house – my 15 month old lab, Ted who only this morning chewed a big whole in my newest wellie bobs!
