GREYHOUND TRUST EASTERN COUNTIES – LIVING IN FOSTER HOME
Kevin is currently living in a temporary foster home with a female greyhound and 3 children having lived for 8 years in a kennel. His foster mum has spent the summer getting Kevin to lots of events with their own greyhound and as you can see from the photo he’s done very well at dog shows!
Due to spending the first 8 years of his life in a kennel it is unlikely Kevin will ever be totally at ease with other breeds and therefore needs an experienced home as he can be reactive towards other breeds, cats and anything small and fluffy.
In the home his current foster mum says “at home he is a perfect boy who loves cuddles and kisses and has so much love to give”. Due to ill health at the foster home we are looking for an urgent home for Kevin in the hope he won’t have to return to kennels for winter. Kevin needs to live with another greyhound as he lacks confidence to live as an only dog.
Kevin has no current health issues but anyone who adopts him will have veterinary support from the branch due to his age.
