… your award winning, independent small animal practice

We are looking for something really special to go on the wall in our new consultation room at Wangford Veterinary Clinic. The owner of the winning photo will be given a canvas print of their pet – the same picture that will be proudly displayed in the practice.

Our pets, very often define our lives and on occasions even rule our lives. We humans can be entirely devoted to our animal companions and Walter and the team at Wangford Vets is searching for a photo that poignantly displays that special relationship between people and pets. We are looking for a touching and heartfelt image of a dog or cat that portrays the bond that exists between a human and their pet.

Wangford Veterinary Practice has always celebrated the special and unique relationships between pets and their owners. We understand too, that for many people, their pets are not only their pride and joy but precious family members too. So when it came to looking for a beautiful image to go up on the wall it seemed appropriate to invite as many pets as possible in to have their photo taken to be entered into our competition.

The photo will be taken by professional photographer, Debbie Townsend and will be a close up of your pet’s face as he or she looks at you (don’t worry, you won’t be in the photo). We have allowed plenty of time for each shoot and have allocated a nice quiet room away from any hustle and bustle where every effort will be made to help your pet relax and be themselves to enable Debbie to get the best possible picture.

For a donation of £2 to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People you will be offered a 6x4 inch copy of your entry. Your chosen photo for entry will be uploaded to a special gallery on our website www.wangfordvetclinic.com. The competition is open to clients and non-clients, with the first photo session taking place on Tuesday 1st August and then on the 8th, 15th and 22nd August. Appointments should be made by phoning the Wangford Vets reception on 01502 578999.
